In January 1979, Roshini and I travelled to Bareilly to the Warne Baby Fold. At that time, this is the building that housed the baby fold.
Today the Warne Baby Fold has a new building made with contributions of children who had been adopted and are now well settled in Sweden.
Roshini and I wanted to see the children and give them some sweets.
The warden personally looks after a two month old baby, who sleeps in her cot right beside the warden’s bed.
The children were delighted to have their pix taken. And they delighted us with their friendliness.
