Rev V Peters, the Vice Principal of North India Theological
Seminary and the pastor of the English service there, invited me to speak at their Thanksgiving Service cum Harvest Festival. I gladly accepted the invitation.
His wife Persis is also an ordained minister of the the Methodist Church.
Vinley’s mother is their organist.
A police officer drove down from Haldwani to share his testimony and sing a special song.
He testified that God had time and again overruled matters and rules changed so that what he had lost earlier was given to him.
A young couple brought their new born baby for dedication and Vinley asked me to do the dedication.
At the end of the service, all the things brought by the members was auctioned to raise money for scholarships for poor children’s education.
Roshini met a former student of the Isabella Thoburn College
and we also met Ms Sophie Charan, who used to be the Manager of the Lalbagh Girls’ Intermediate College and attended Lalbagh Methodist Church frequently while I was pastor there.
