Ajith Fernando, the Founder-Director of Youth For Christ was one of the speakers at the conference. Ajith is world-renowned. He's a big name, but still remembered me from an earlier meeting years ago. His devotional messages were based on Colossians 1:24 and focussed on the Christian's call to suffer on behalf of the Lord Jesus.
Dr Bourdanne Daniel, the head of the International Federation of Students was another speaker. He spoke in French, and was translated into English. His talks assessed the current trends and the way to keep the faith today.
