While in school I got hooked on to cowboy comics. I still like cowboy movies a lot. Here I am modelling an Akubra hat, a distinctive part of Australian culture. Claimed to be derived from an aboriginal word, Akubra is the name of one of Australia's most famous producers of hats, although the name tends to be used more often to describe the hats themselves. In Australia nearly any hat with a wide brim is likely to be referred to as an Akubra.
Jess has always wanted one.
And Joe has always collected hats. They too modelled the Akubra hats. Isn't there a family likeness when you see the three of us together?
